GharScore is Pakistan's first community-driven rental reputation platform. We believe every tenant deserves honest information before signing a lease — not after.
Our mission
Pakistan's rental market has always favoured landlords. Tenants move into properties blind, relying on word of mouth and luck. GharScore changes that. We give tenants a place to share verified, honest reviews — so the next renter knows what to expect before they commit.
Why we built this
We built GharScore because we couldn't find it. No verified review platform existed for Pakistani rentals. People were being misled by agents, discovering problems only after moving in, and having no way to warn others. GharScore is the platform we wished existed.
How reviews work
Tenants submit a review about a property they rented. To earn the Verified Tenant badge, they upload proof of tenancy — a rental agreement, utility bill, or similar document. Our team reviews the proof before the badge is granted. All other reviews are community-submitted and clearly labelled. A landlord cannot pay to remove or hide a review.
How buildings work
Properties on GharScore are suggested by the community and reviewed by our team before going live. When a tenant adds a property that doesn't exist yet, we verify the address and publish it once confirmed. This keeps the database clean and accurate.
How moderation works
Every review is readable by our team. Users can report a review using the 'Report' button on any review card, or by emailing us directly. We investigate all reports within 7 working days. Reviews that are fake, harassing, or violate our Community Guidelines are removed. A landlord disputing a review must demonstrate it is false — we do not remove reviews simply because they are negative.
Privacy by design
Your name is never shown on a review by default. Reviews appear under a pseudonym. Your identity is known to GharScore for accountability — but it is never shared with landlords or other users without a legal order. Tenancy documents are stored in a private vault and are only accessible to our verification team.
Who we are
GharScore is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with any real estate agency, developer, or landlord association. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored listings, or payment to promote or suppress any property or review. Our only interest is an honest, well-informed rental market for Pakistan.
