Terms of Service

Welcome to GharScore. By using this website and app (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. GharScore is a community platform where tenants in Pakistan share honest reviews about rental properties. Please read these Terms before using the Service.
1. Who can use GharScore
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a legally binding contract under Pakistani law. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it.
2. Your content
When you post a review, rating, or any other content, you confirm that it is your own honest experience and opinion, that it is truthful to the best of your knowledge, and that you have the right to share it. Do not post anything that is false, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that reveals another person’s private information — such as ID card numbers, home addresses, or financial details. You keep ownership of your content. By posting it, you give GharScore a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and adapt it on the Service. This licence continues for anonymised content after your account is closed.
3. Honest reviews
Reviews must reflect a genuine tenancy or a real landlord–tenant interaction. The following are prohibited: • Fake reviews — reviews for properties you did not rent • Paid reviews — written in exchange for money, gifts, or discounts • Reviews designed to damage a property for competitive reasons We may ask for proof of tenancy and may remove reviews that break these Terms. Reviews are individual opinions. GharScore does not verify the accuracy of every claim in a review.
4. Tenancy proof
You may upload a tenancy document to verify your review. By doing so, you confirm you have the right to upload it. We store such documents privately and use them only to verify the authenticity of reviews. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
5. Reporting content
If you believe a review is false, defamatory, or breaks these Terms, use the “Report” button on the review, or contact us at support@gharscore.pk with the property, the review, and the reason. We investigate all reports and may remove or annotate content. We aim to balance free, honest feedback with protection from harmful content.
6. No professional advice
GharScore provides community opinions, not legal, financial, or rental advice. Reviews reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee about any property. Always do your own research before renting.
7. Our intellectual property
The GharScore name, logo, design, and platform are our property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Do not upload content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property rights.
8. Account suspension and appeals
We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these Terms or Pakistani law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). If your account or content is suspended and you believe this was a mistake, email support@gharscore.pk with ‘Appeal’ in the subject line. We will respond within 7 working days.
9. Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, GharScore is not liable for the accuracy of user content or for any loss arising from your use of the Service. We are an intermediary platform and are not a party to any tenancy agreement between users.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
